just to keep up with Ally's medicine schedule. I took her to the Dr. this afternoon because she has this horrible cough. She has had the cough since Feb. We saw the Dr. in March and she was on meds. but it never went away. Well, this week, it has just been getting worse. No fever or anything, just a cough. Well, she was diagnosed with acute asthma and acute sinus infection. NICE!!!! Good one, mom, for letting this go on for so long. So, we have nebulizer twice a day (I've done the every 4 hr. thing in the past, thank goodness, it isn't that bad), inhaler twice a day, antibiotics twice a day, and steroid once a day. Poor kid!!! So, she has to go back to see him again in 2 weeks and hopefully, it will be gone by then.
She has a big weekend this weekend. Her big weekend starts on Sat. with her birthday party. She invited 3 friends from school and she is so excited about that. Then on Sun. is the kickoff for her softball league. All of the teams will play their first game and they will have food and other stuff to do. It sounds like fun.

New York City- Ellis Island
New York City- Statue of Liberty
The first picture is Ally and I on the boat over to Liberty Island.
The second picture is Ally with the city in the backgroud.
The third picture is my friends that we went with and I with the statue in the background.
And the last two pictures are pictures of the statue. These pictures turned out great and by looking at the sky you can see how beautiful the day was.
New York City- Grand Central Station
Easter- all dressed up
Easter Baskets
We didn't get any pictures of them looking for eggs because the batteries died in the camera and they couldn't wait for us to change them. But, here are some pictures of things that were in their baskets. The last one is my mom with the bunny we got her. I thought the picture was funny and she would probably kill me if she knew I posted it.
Miscellaneous pictures...
The first picture is Brad and the 2 little ones watching this Christian program that Libby loves. Brad and Libby were watching on our bed and Jon just crawled up and laid down with Brad. It was so cute.
The second is of Pumpkin, just because she is cute.
The last three are of the kids "helping" Daddy. They love being with Daddy when he is working outside.

I know, I know
I'm sorry it has been a long time since I posted. I have not really been able to keep up with blogs lately and that includes my own. I really will try harder, but I certainly can't promise anything.
We did name our baby kitten, her name is Pumpkin. She is such a sweetie and is not afraid of the dogs. The dogs are not really sure what to do with her because she doesn't run from them, it is great.
I just got home from my first women's retreat. I never went to a church that had women's retreats until now and I was really excited to go. I had a wonderful time. I got to know some women that I have seen at church but never got to KNOW them, so that was great. I was really nervous about leaving Brad and the kids at home. I have never been away from my husband and kids before, but it turned out great and I had a really relaxing time. I am tired because we stayed up so late talking, but I'll get sleep tonight and it will be fine.
Jon's speech therapy is going great. He is really starting to make so many sounds now. And he is using his signs, which is great too. He has a Dr. appt. this week and I am going to insist that we be referred to an ENT because he is just getting so much junk out of his nose. It is crazy.
Well, that is it for now. I will try to be back soon.
