A long time again

I can't believe I let this go so long.

So much has happened. Ally had her surgery on Nov. 15th. We adopted Jon and Libby on Dec. 5th. And we moved on Dec. 15th. It was a whirlwind of an end of a year, but we made it through and we are doing well.

We had a wonderful Easter. We first went to Sunday School and Church and then ate dinner at my sister's house and then went to visit my mil's house. It was a beautiful day to celebrate our Lord's resurrection.

The builders came today!!!!

I have been so disappointed all week because the builders haven't been out since Tues. Well, they showed up just as I got there to drop the kids off this morning. I was so excited. They did so much today. They got almost all the rest of the roof on and they framed out the rooms. That is so exciting to see. Now it is easier to figure out where everything is going to be.

Today was also Brad's Friday off, so he was out there all day. All week he has been working on getting Jon's room painted. Then today, he painted our room. I love the color we picked out and with the trim it looks really nice. I am so excited.

Adoption Date!!!!!!

We got the letter from our attorney today and Libby and Jon's adoption date is Dec. 5th. I am so excited and praising God for blessing us with 2 more beautiful children.

Ally's surgery is next Thurs. I am so happy that they will let me be with her until they put her to sleep. She is going to be really nervous that day and I think that will help calm her a little. I think Mommy will be nervous too.


These are some pictures from the construction. They are getting the roof on now. This first picture is of the porch they built onto the side of the garage. We really think it is neat. I can't wait for this to be finished and we can move. Settlement date on our house is Dec. 20th, so I hope this is all finished so we can be out of our house by then.

It's been a long time.

Okay, so it's been months again since I updated this thing. Big things have been happening. Ally started first grade. We started construction on the house (which has been stalled for almost 4 weeks now, thanks to the electric company). Elizabeth and Jonathan are now adoptive placements and should be adopted before the end of the year. I can't wait to show their pictures on here. I will soon. I promise.
