Sprinkler Fun!!

This is one of the shirts I bought for Jon last week. I love it. My crazy kids decided they wanted to get wet when Brad was watering the lawn last night. It was about 70 degrees out. They were shivering when they were done, but they had fun.

The Dentist and Potty Trained!!!

L went to the dentist for the first time on Tuesday. She did great. I was a little concerned because she talks constantly, so I explained to her before we went in that when they were working in her mouth, she couldn't talk. She did great. The first thing she said to me when she got out of the chair was, "Mommy, I didn't talk!!" It was so cute. Her teeth are great and the hygenist explained to her how to brush and floss and gave her a timer to show how long she should brush. She was a little afraid to go, but I think she really liked it. The hygenist we had is incredible with kids there for the first time and our dentist acts like a kid when he is around the younger ones.
And the big news, she is completely potty trained. She has been trained during the day for awhile now but I wasn't brave enough to not put a pull-up on at night. Well, we ran out last Friday and I decided I wasn't buying anymore. She has not had one accident. And last night, I forgot to make her go potty before she went to bed and she woke me up to go potty in the middle of the night. I was so happy, I think she really has it down now.

Child Dedication

Our church always has child dedication on Father's Day. This is our first Father's Day since we adopted J and L. We have been waiting to do this, especially for Libby since we had her in our home for almost 3 years before we could adopt her.
For those of you who don't know what child dedication is, it basically just says that we are promising before God and our church that we will raise our children Biblically and that we will teach them to how to follow Christ.
Here are 2 pictures from today. They really did not turn out well. I played with fixing them a little, at least you can make it out a little, but they are not great. Before, I played with them, you could not even see us up front though. The man who is the "official" church photographer was taking pictures, so I might ask him if he has any good ones because he was right in front.
