Libby's First Day of Preschool

Libby had her first day of preschool on Sept. 9th. She has been talking about this for months. She was so excited.
Here she is with her bag. Her preschool does not allow backpacks, they must have tote bags.

But, first, she had to go to work with Mommy.
She loves riding the bus with me. She'd love it if I took her everyday.
We finally got to school just when we had a horrible thunderstorm. About 10 min. away from here a tornado went through. You can see how wet her shirt was, the rain was unbelievable.

She loves going to preschool, but we only have her going 2 days a week this year. She is such an outgoing child and I think she will love school.

Lost all of my feeds.

Oh, I am so sad. Our computer crashed again and I lost all of my feeds. Now, I have to try to find my favorite blogs again. BooHoo!!!!

First Day of 2nd Grade!!!

Today Allison started 2nd grade. I can't believe it. She had a good day, but was excited to see me when I got home from work. Oh, and sorry about the flash on the TV. My mistake!!

The first time...

Dear Allison,

7 years ago today was the first time I ever saw your beautiful face. I got the phone call while I was in a meeting and I had to run outside. I was shocked when she told me it was a girl, but I was so happy. I had to go back to my meeting and when it was over, I rushed home to wait for Daddy to get home from work (he left at lunch time, there was no way he was staying all day). Then we checked email and got to see your beautiful face. We both knew right then and there that you were going to be our baby. We were so excited, we couldn't believe that we were finally going to be parents and you were going to be our baby.
I am amazed at the beautiful young lady that you have grown up to be. You will be starting 2nd grade in just 6 days, it is hard to believe how fast time has gone.
I love you so much Baby Boo!!!!!
