L went to the dentist for the first time on Tuesday. She did great. I was a little concerned because she talks constantly, so I explained to her before we went in that when they were working in her mouth, she couldn't talk. She did great. The first thing she said to me when she got out of the chair was, "Mommy, I didn't talk!!" It was so cute. Her teeth are great and the hygenist explained to her how to brush and floss and gave her a timer to show how long she should brush. She was a little afraid to go, but I think she really liked it. The hygenist we had is incredible with kids there for the first time and our dentist acts like a kid when he is around the younger ones.
And the big news, she is completely potty trained. She has been trained during the day for awhile now but I wasn't brave enough to not put a pull-up on at night. Well, we ran out last Friday and I decided I wasn't buying anymore. She has not had one accident. And last night, I forgot to make her go potty before she went to bed and she woke me up to go potty in the middle of the night. I was so happy, I think she really has it down now.

Child Dedication
Our church always has child dedication on Father's Day. This is our first Father's Day since we adopted J and L. We have been waiting to do this, especially for Libby since we had her in our home for almost 3 years before we could adopt her.
For those of you who don't know what child dedication is, it basically just says that we are promising before God and our church that we will raise our children Biblically and that we will teach them to how to follow Christ.
Here are 2 pictures from today. They really did not turn out well. I played with fixing them a little, at least you can make it out a little, but they are not great. Before, I played with them, you could not even see us up front though. The man who is the "official" church photographer was taking pictures, so I might ask him if he has any good ones because he was right in front.

Happy Father's Day!!!!!
Happy Father's Day to the love of my life. You are the best dad and husband anyone could ask for. We love you so much.
A and I started out the day by giving him breakfast in bed. Well, actually, we were in the process of getting it ready when he got up, so we had to send him back to bed, so we could give it to him there. Then we headed off to church and then we went out for dinner. We don't usually go to sit down places with all 3 children, but we had my mom and Brad's brother and sister-in-law with us, and it went pretty well.
Here are pictures of my flower beds. The landscaper's finally finished up this week and now we could finally have flower beds. My wonderful husband worked hard on this yesterday morning and now they are finished. I think they turned out beautiful. Thank you, Honey!!!!

2nd Day of Summer Vacation
Yesterday was my first day off and I really did not do much. My poor kids, I felt bad for not doing much with them, but I just wanted to rest. First of all, I had some stomach thing going on, so I really wasn't feeling well. I did get all of my new recipes written out and all of my coupons clipped, though. And we read books last night and played on the porch for awhile until it was almost dark.
Big sis reading a book to little bro.
Yummy hotdogs!!!! I made hotdogs for lunch. I really need to go grocery shopping, so we have more choices for lunch, now that we are home everyday. And somehow we all ended up with red shirts on today (but you won't have the pleasure of seeing my red shirt.) Okay, not somehow, truthfully, once the first 2 had red shirts on, I decided that the other 2 should too.

Of course, I have 2 full days off and my supervisor called this morning and asked me to come in at 9 tomorrow morning to help map out the summer runs. Oh, well, any little money will help.
Big Sister's pictures
Monday evening A drew some pictures for J. I didn't know what to do with them, so we hung them above the changing table for him to look at. He absolutely hates getting his diaper changed and screams the whole time, so I have been able to distract him a little with these pictures.
This is his other new set of pajama's that A picked for him.

And this is how he feels about going to bed.

Dentist and New Clothes
I really wish I could figure out how to write before the pictures, but I haven't figured that out yet.
Anyway, it was so hot today. Tomorrow it is supposed to start cooling down, it will be nice for some relief.
A went to the dentist today. She loves it there and does not have a problem going. She has 4 loose teeth. I hope she doesn't lose them all at once. And she is still waiting on one of her 6 year molars. She has always been a little late getting her teeth. And the best news of all, NO CAVITIES!!!! L goes next week for her first visit to the dentist. I hope she loves it just as much as A does.
In the fall, when shorts season was over , I took all of J's 12 month clothes to Goodwill, thinking for sure that he would not still be in that size. I was so wrong. He needs 18 month tops, but his bottoms are still 12 month. So today, we went to Walmart and bought new shorts. Of course, I had A along and she picked out new shirts and summer pajamas for him too. She was so excited and she didn't ask for anything for herself, so I didn't mind buying the extra things for him. J. turned 20 months old yesterday.

Bad Blogger
I am such a bad blogger.
We have been busy. Ally finished school yesterday and I work until Tuesday and then summer vacation officially begins. I can't wait.
Yesterday, Ally had an awards chapel. She came home with 2 Most Cheerful awards, one from her teacher and one from her gym teacher. She also got an Honor Roll award, an Excellent Spirit award, and an Outstanding Effort award. I am so proud of her and can't believe she is finished with 1st grade already.
Now some pictures.
This first picture is how I found Jon watching TV one day. He is so funny.

Libby begging me to take her picture.
